Tiny Grains of Sand Magnified 100-300 Times

Who knew sand could look so incredibly colorful and unique? Gary Greenberg, that’s who, whose incredible macro photography techniques reveal each grain of sand to be a kaleidoscope of color and texture that defies its initial appearance. Greenberg photographs sets of sand that he collects from beaches across the world. As the photographer states: “Imagine how unique each person is if each sand grain is unique.”
