“Don’t bend; don’t water it down; don’t try to make it logical; don’t edit your own soul according to the fashion. Rather, follow your most intense obsessions mercilessly.”

Thank God for novelists. Thank God there are people willing to write everything down. Otherwise, so much would be forgotten.

Multiple Elements in the Brew

It feels like I haven’t posted an update on my writing in a supernaturally long time.

So, here we are, the week of Thanksgiving, after I’ve floated off the manuscripts to my editor, discreetly and gleefully, without letting ALL of my buddies in on the secret, which is this: Multiple elements are in the brew.

What does that mean?

It means to expect a thriller in a post-apocalyptic, subterranean setting. It means that an extinction event that has nothing to do with nuclear bombs, asteroids, or global warming wiped out humanity. It means that a society comprised (mostly) of scientists found a way to survive. It means that a conflict between minds unlike any you’ve ever experienced is set to unfold in a world unlike any you’ve ever witnessed. It means that beginning the first week of April 2014, I’ll be releasing the five parts of my presently untitled speculative fiction work every two weeks. It means you can be patient and await the omnibus edition, (somewhere near 1,000 pages, including the appendix), and save a buck or two, or you can follow along as many of my friends and family, (and even a few fans), have requested.

It means, Constant Followers, that you should expect more, (much more), from me in the weeks and months ahead regarding my most ambitious project ever. :)
