They're quirky and lovely and I couldn't help rooting for them. Of course they appear in the sequel, After the Party, too. Those books remain firm favourites of mine, as do all Lisa Jewell's. Another couple she wrote so brilliantly about were Vince and Joy, from the book of the same name.(less)
