Tube carriage
I've been a stuck at home sick-o for the past few days, so this was for my own fun. I was trying to let the shapes lead the line this time, rather than the other way round as I usually do. Apart from the cats and some of the dog, which I drew as usual - and I think you can definitely tell. The other guys seem to flow more with the rest of the picture. Not sure it's a for-always technique, but I really liked it for this and it was fun to add things as I thought of them (pimped out frog). And I added some tube grub to make it more, ahem, realistic...!

New illustrator photo
For my website and general use. Not that I was in any doubt, but this did make me re-appreciate how hard Roger Rabbit must have been to do! I wish these guys hung around me in real life, although in a way I suppose they do.

Drawing at the British Library
On the 5th of March seven illustrators including me will be drawing in the foyer of the Conference Centre at the British Library! The talk looks really interesting, so I'm looking forward to that too. And if you're in the area, please come along!

Cards
Working on a card range which I'm planning to have in my soon to be opened Etsy shop... Need to get them printed properly first. Also I'm not sure these guys are really jolly enough for birthday cards. Debating whether to have writing or not... But must just make up my mind and do it, I've been flirting with an Etsy shop for too long now!

February Tralalire
The February issue of Tralalire, the monthly magazine for children, is the first to contain my characters Pouët Pouët, Cacahouette and Patatras! Bonjour mes petits amis! (I'm really hoping my French will improve through this job and the Belgian animal dictionary... croisons les doigts!)
