Talks on Confucian values and Cities in Australia

Daniel recently returned from Australia where he spoke at several events including two in Melbourne – at Asialink based at the University of Melbourne, and the Grattan Institute. At Asialink, Daniel gave a talk entitled Traditional Values and Chinese Foreign Policy, exploring how China’s Confucian values can and are influencing the shape of China’s foreign policy today.


At the Grattan Institute, Daniel spoke and was interviewed about his latest book, “The Spirit of Cities”, as part of the Grattan’s Cities program. A video recording of this session is below.
