Happy Birthday Jack Kirby!
Jack Kirby if he was still alive would be 94 today, it is hard to put into words what this artist did to elevate the superhero comic. So instead I refer you to this excellent dynamic fight sequence between Captain America & Batroc the Leaper from the Captain America specials Marvel ran earlier this year; what a fantastic action packed 9-panel page. Happy Birthday Jack, your legacy will always be remembered.

Baltimore Comic Con is over for another year and the final Cosplay Gallery for BCC2011
Well we are done for another year at Baltimore Comic Con, this year was our fourth event as an Independent Exhibitor and it was a lot of fun. A hard slog though because this was my first just taking my books, making it a much more difficult sell than just showing off Stikfas. The good news is word is now out about Fabula Zero Exposition, and The Tether Saga was introduced to a much larger audience. The big surprise was The Wonder Tales, it seems comic con attendee's have a soft spot for these all ages fairy tales.
Before I leave you to explore our second 2011 Fabula Zero Exposition Cosplay Gallery I would like to give a big shout out to Asher Humm, his wife Renee, my wife Jean and Mr Dan 'Da Hat' Nokes from 21CSS for making this event very enjoyable. Now enjoy the gallery and watch this space for future show announcements.
Oh, one lesson I learned from this Convention, everyone wanted to take a picture of my Panda Business Card Guardian? I found that bit odd, but perhaps a sign that I should write a story with a Panda in it? Lucky I am… Ahem… Now on with the gallery. See you all next year at Baltimore Comic Con 2012!

Only 2 Days left before Baltimore Comic Con what can you expect from Alt World at BCC2011?
We only have two days left before Baltimore Comic Con starts, and then we spend the weekend celebrating all that is great and good in comics. I will be there at my Artist Alley Booth A12 debuting Fabula Zero Exposition, my graphic novel mash up of comic and prose writing the most unique book at this convention this weekend.
While you visiting my booth you can pick up the convention exclusive Fabula Zero Exposition Broadsheet Comic for only $1. The artist who created this wonderful one sheet comic Asher Humm will be present to talk about his art, take commissions and of course show what he is working on next.
Along with Fabula Zero Exposition, I will be bringing the Tether Saga books and The Wonder Tales, plus a few little extras like The Cruelest Month an anthology of stories where all royalties go to the American Cancer Society. Lots of stuff going on including a sneak peak at the next set of Wonder Tales. Sneak Peak – Marvel at Chris Evans as Captain America in pictures taken on the Avengers set
Yes I did geek out at this… These pictures were sneakily taken on the Avengers set, as we can see Chris Evans is dressed as Captain America in his new Avenger outfit and is facing off against some type of alien threat. You can check out the rest of the pictures after the jump.

3 days left until Baltimore Comic con will Screamer come as the Baroness or Bellatrix at BCC2011
A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of doing a photo shoot with Screamers (aka Rose from Retroscreamers). We did a set with her as Bellatrix and one as the Baroness. The full galleries will eventually be posted here, but the question is… Which outfit will she bring to Baltimore Comic Con? And which outfit will she be pictured in holding her copy of Fabula Zero Exposition? We will learn this answer this weekend!
