Publication Limbo

I hope everyone is safe and sane during these difficult times. For my part, I have discovered that what I call a normal day is what others call quarantine. Who knew? Anyway, Im still working the day job at home and writing at night. Such is my glamorous life.

The secret wisdom being passed around writing circles these days is that people are reading more during this time. Im not finding that to be the case. However, I am actually writing more. I dont have to drive to work now that the office...

Typos!

Hi! So it’s 2020? Yeah, I’ve not been active on this blog, mostly because I’ve had my head down with writing and other things. But I’m hard at work writing the tenth book in the Descendants Saga.

Writing is a lot of work with lots of revision and rewriting. Inevitably, typos happen. I proof-read my books and have a proof-reader as well. Yet somehow I can summon typos out of thin air no matter what I do. Sorry about this. I realize this is a distraction for readers and knocks people out of the...

Releasing on Halloween. Boo.

I did not plan to release during Halloween. But that’s what happened. Don’t ask about the mysterious process of publishing. It’s all very mystical. Somehow I’ve experienced a confluence of magical energies that have resulted in publication to Amazon of my latest book right on Halloween. Spooky.

Go buy The Red Oath now! Here it as on the US store and UK store. But feel free to buy a copy from every Amazon store if that’s your thing.

If you’ve been wondering when the Wolves would be united again, well, I’m not spoiling mu...

New Book Incoming

While I like to imagine myself as a blazing fast writer who sits at his desk and knocks out words like a machine, reality is somewhat different. I think the more appropriate image is less machine-like and more glacial. I’ve been told that to be successful in this new publishing world I have to produce a new book about every two months. Er, okay. I miss that mark like a machine. See? I knew I did something like a machine.

I do have good news, however. I’ve completed the ninth book in the Desce...

Let’s Blame Loki

Thanks to everyone who has supported Norse Vengeance which launched last week. Due to unseen interference from the gods, the book was not available in Kindle Unlimited.

It is now available in Kindle Unlimited. Full stop.

Yeah, I somehow missed the tick box and left it out of KU. This is unusual in that Amazon makes a big deal out of enrolling in KU before you publish. Well, maybe not that big of a deal, but they make a deal. I missed it. So those who have been waiting to add this to their KU...

New Book Out: Extra 30% Violence Include Free!

There are really only a few ways to say I’ve written a new book and that I want you to buy it. I could end the post with this statement. But since my fingers are warmed up now, let me write a little more about this book.

The book is titled Norse Vengeance. We’ll be spending some time with Thorfast the Silent in this book. I’ll define “some time” as 100% of the book. Yes, it’s about his ordeal in the aftermath of the last book. If the title isn’t a hint, this book will be dishing out some reve...

Viking Bones Released

I’m excited to be releasing the fifth book in the Descendants Saga, Viking Bones. The groovy cover picture is just to the right of this entry. Unless of course you’re reading this at some future date when the article has scrolled down. Now you don’t see anything to the right. Just click the link above and buy my book. No seriously. Buy my book. Isn’t that why I write in this blog three times a year?

This story is a bit different in the scheme of the overall series. I’m taking the spotlight of...

Ulfrik Ormsson’s Saga in Print

At last I have managed to get the entire seven books of Ulfrik Omrsson’s Saga available as print-on-demand books via CreateSpace. This means you can get them all on Amazon.com. Here’s a handy link to the whole series. The quality of these books is amazing.

Of course, just about everyone reading this entry has probably already read the ebook editions. But I bet you know people who still enjoy reading a good paperback. I’m one of those people, actually. Now you can recommend the series to them!...
