Zigor Etxebeste Gómez nació el 1 de noviembre de 1974 en Donostia-San Sebastián. Es licenciado en Geografía e Historia por la Universidad de Valladolid (UVA), especializado en Historia del Arte y en Historia y Estética de la Cinematografía. Fue miembro fundador y redactor de la revista Letras de Cine de Valladolid (1998-2006). Es un colaborador radiofónico en temas artísticos y de festivales cinematográficos como el Festival de Cine de San Sebastián; Semana de Cine fantástico y de terror de San Sebastián; Festival de Sitges; Festival de Cine y Derechos Humanos de San Sebastián.
Desde 2003, compagina sus diversas actividades con la docencia de Bachillerato en Nazaret Fundazioa.
