FLYING WITH GOD - Holiday Special

Hi Dear Readers,

You may want to get to know me better.

You know, Flight Attendants are people too, with many personal ups and downs. I share my story of my upbringing to show I felt all alone while I kept secrets hidden in the bunker of my mind. This made me feel alone, helpless and hopeless. It never occurred to me that things could change for the better I was stuck in a painful survival mode for a long time (until I was 45 years old) but change, overcoming, recovery did come. Read all about it starting with FLYING WITH GOD-Putting on a Happy Face, the first book of my trilogy.

FLYING WITH GOD

Putting on a Happy Face
A Flight Attendant Memoir
by Bettina 'Sparkles' Obernuefemann

If you are interested in a personal WWII story and behind the scene scoops of a 38 years flying career in the USA, this is a must read for you.

Like many others who suffered early traumas, the author shows how she courageously carried her life's cross. In Part 1, she reveals her chaotic upbringing, set against the terrifying backdrop of Germany during WWII. She writes of the travails while being raised by a domineering mother and passive father. The saga continues with her family's journey to the "New World" with many movies across Canada and the United States. She shares how her dysfunctional upbringing always made her feel like an outsider and how "looking for love in all the wrong places" got her into big trouble.

Healing the Past

My purpose in life has become clear to me since I began my recovery process for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in 1987. The priority is to share my love with others so they may grow. I am accomplishing this by writing a trilogy that I am publishing myself through Harmony Hills Press. My first book is currently available to purchase. I began my autobiography with my childhood in WWII Germany describing not only suffering war, but also my dysfunctional family upbringing. Fortunately, my family moved to North America and I was lucky to land a career in the airlines in 1965 which lasted 38 years.

My long standing career provided a glimpse of airline history with a personal, humanistic perspective. I have included my view of the experience of evolving from a stewardess to a flight attendant. You will enjoy this first book which includes interesting photos and anecdotes about famous flyers. My next two books will be about how recovery opened the door to my spiritual growth. Now…let me ask you…

Are you living in harmony?
If not, you may be stuck in a hurtful past.

Are you WILLING TO MAKE A CHANGE?
Then I would like to support you by sharing the steps that worked for me.
