"Born and bred in Sydney with Irish roots, Ian studied Computing Science and Chemistry at university, and wrote short stories in his spare time. He worked in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, before spreading his wings, working for a time in London and Dublin.

Sydney was always home to Ian, and he's been back here ever since, where he lives with his wife and young family.

His day job is in IT; Ian has built a career in both government and private industry. Eschewing the corporate ladder, Ian has stepped back somewhat from the purely technical roles to add value in communications and analysis.
