The Point, Continued – Maybe.
Continuing my bloviation from yesterday about temporal recalibration and the switch to 30-minute composition times: might be worth it (for me if for no one else) to revisit and restate the point of these pieces – these Informalities, and the various parentheticals that populate this site: to publish new writing – of varying quality – daily so that I might exorcise random thoughlets from my brain; to make sharing more difficult (do I really need to share that?) and to encourage deeper thought...

Evolution / Devolution / Whatever Works
Cutting the time that I work on these Informalities (I’ve been dedicating an hour each morning since March) by half so that I can have more time with The Book. Unintentional – and welcome, perhaps, side effect: a new writing challenge, a daily 30-minute sprint between 90-minute chunks of Book-toil.
(I think that the 30-minute limit may have been the challenge with the first volume of these pieces, all those years ago.)
Hopefully this new challenge will – once I get through the pains of tempo...

Notes on Ongoing Efforts to Ameliorate My Shitty Handwriting
My notebooks, currently: an illegible repository for thoughts/thoughtflashes vanquished in the act of putting pen to paper, thoughts never to be viewed again, my shitty handwriting the unbreakable cypher between the personal and the prying (the latter of which’ll probably never exist).
