The Boy Scouts just delivered a whopping defeat to the anti-equality crowd. But for some reason, FRC president Tony Perkins, someone who has been denigrating the current leadership all through this process, still thinks he has the capital to call on new leadership:

While LGBT rights fights are uniquely personal for LGBT people for obvious reasons, there is usually some degree of distance between known experience and current debate.
