A Fairy visits Satsang with Giten
SATSANG WITH GITEN, 28 JUNE, 2018, IN STOCKHOLM
“I AM GRATEFUL TO BE ABLE TO ATTEND SATSANG WITH GITEN”
– Josefairy
”I am grateful to be able to attend satsang with Giten. Satsang with Giten draw me deeper and deeper into the inner silence and emptiness, to the boundless and limitless within, even if my mind resisted.”
It was really interesting to meet Giten! The satsang was a deeply giving experience. It was so interesting to listen to Giten explaining about silence and emptiness, about how the emptiness is really not empty, but filled.
The last years I have had longer periods when I have experience emptiness, and when I accept this experience, the emptiness becomes filled – or maybe I have experienced that it has been filled the whole time of pure being?

“To be a spiritual teacher you need to develop the skills and the art to convey the truth to others. It is the most difficult art, because something has to be said about something that cannot be said in language, something has to be transmitted which is not transmitable.
To be a spiritual teacher needs a particular training, a particular training to convey, a particular training to help, a particular training to advice and counsel, a particular training to create new devices and methods, because every individual and age need something different.”
– Swami Dhyan Giten
“Awareness and compassion are the flower and the fragrance of the spiritual teacher. Compassion means living to give.”
– Swami Dhyan Giten
“To be a spiritual teacher is the call of compassion.”
– Swami Dhyan Giten
“The spiritual teacher speaks to the ignorant person in one language and he speaks to the conscious person in another language to help them to take steps to truth.”
– Swami Dhyan Giten
“Shraddha, loving trust, is the climate between a spiritual teacher and a student.”
– Swami Dhyan Giten
“Shraddha, loving trust, is a spiritual discipline in itself between the spiritual teacher and student.”
– Swami Dhyan Giten
“Without trust between the spiritual teacher and student it is not possible to attain to no-mind, because to attain no-mind needs trust.”

The Pedagogics of the Buddhas: The Art of Teaching with Giten, 1-Day-satsang, Saturday 14 July, 2018

Darshan & Satsang med Giten
The Upanishads:
The Pedagogics of the Buddhas
The Call of Compassion
– The Art of Teaching
Lördag 14 juli, 2018
10.00 – 18.00 i Stockholm
“Satsang with Giten is heaven.”
– Satyama Padma
This is a loving invitation to Giten’s friends and sangha, who have participated in satsang with Giten before, to a whole day on the topic The Pedagogics of the Buddhas: The Call of Compassion – The Art of Teaching. This day will consist of spiritual keys from The Upanishads, the ancient insight and wisdom of India, for how to be a spiritual teacher and to develop the art and skill for how to counsel and guide a person along the path of love and truth.
To be a spiritual teacher you need to develop the skills and the art to convey the truth to others. It is the most difficult art, because something has to be said about something that cannot be said in language, something has to be transmitted which is not transmitable.
To be a spiritual teacher needs a particular training, a particular training to convey, a particular training to help, a particular training to advice and counsel, a particular training to create new devices and methods, because every individual and age need something different.
This day will be supported by silent satsang with Giten, which is a direct insight and experience of being. This experience can transform our entire being and consciousness.
Darshan is a meeting with Giten, where he can talk informally with individuals and small groups of seekers of truth. In darshan, Giten answers questions from seekers and gives initiation to seekers of truth.
During this day we will explore keys from The Upanishads:
Meditation: the inner being, the inner silence and emptiness, the state of yes, going beyond the ego.
The teacher and student relationship.
The Art of Speaking: Understanding the difference between speaking to ignorant people and speaking with conscious people.
The Language of Silence – The transmission of Light: Understanding the difference between the language of words and the language of silence.
The Yes method: Understanding how to create a relationship of yes, allowing a trust to grow in the other person and how to speak to create a yes in the other person.
Truth has to be revealed step by step: Understanding that the truth has to be revealed in many steps. It has to be revealed slowly step by step.
Practical information:

Giten: Rejoicing in Your Own Self
[image error]
Satyama Padma in samadhi, in bliss, during satsang with Giten
Rejoicing in your own self
From satsang with Giten on The Upanishads, 26 April, 2018, in Stockholm
This sutra says that the seeker should always give up delighting in others, and start delighting in himself.
We rejoice, but never in ourselves, only in others. We simply pay no attention to ourselves.
You are sitting alone and unoccupied and feeling unhappy. You think that if another person arrives then there should be some joy.
Alone, you begin to feel sad. Alone, you are not happy.
You cannot give happiness to your own self, so how can you give it to others?
This sutra says rejoice in your own self.
You are sitting alone, be joyous.
Several spiritual traditions emphasizes joy, ecstasy and rejoicing in your self.
The fundamental principle of the Sufis is not to make your happiness dependent on the other. Sufis emphasize to associate happiness with your own self, not with others.
Practice as a meditation to sit under a tree, alone, letting go of others and the world, allowing yourself to love and accept yourself as you are without judging or condemning yourself – and be happy.
We usually become happy for some outer reason.
Happiness without any reason is bliss.
One is simply rejoicing from with ourselves.
Bliss can only be without any reason.
When you seek happiness for a reason – in some person, in power, in money, in a position, in status, in fame, the end result is always unhappiness.
Seeking happiness in some outer cause will always result in sorrow.
Happiness always comes from our own self, from our own inner being.
When we discover the source of happiness within our own self it means that we do not have to go anywhere else searching for it.
The outer world is to fall in love with other people. Spirituality is the search to fall in love with our own self.
It is to allow the happiness to flow from within ourselves, not from the outside.
It is to rejoice in our own being, in our own existence.
