Like – Letterman, and LATE NIGHT (then the Late Show) formed such a big part of my personality, my sense of humor. To say nothing of the damage staying up to watch it did to my circadian rhythms that only two kids and middle age could undo.

This was new – seconds before we would have touched down the plane pulled up hard and banked. We ended up going right over JFK then in a big circle around and down again. The pilot explained the tower didn’t like how close we were to another plane.
