So many characters, so many faces. But this is how I want to remember Bowie—upon the release of his final album, days away from death, and smiling like a man who owns the whole fucking world. Even his death was a work of art.

What 2016 Movie Are You Most Excited For?

Hail Caesar. Eisenstein in Guanajuato. Desierto. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. Green Room. Miles Ahead. Vita Activa. Demolition. Elvis and Nixon. Snowden. Ghostbusters.The Founder. Rogue One. Passengers. Fantastic Beasts, The BFG, Dory, and Kung Fu Panda 3 will be very big with my kids (especially BFG, henry’s reading it to tallulah now…)

Did you get the chance to read "The Eternaut" since you bought it? Any impressions?

it’s fantastic. aja sent me another version of it, too, like a remake osterheld did later? that’s great, too, even not speaking spanish, just to look at the two side by side.

What advice would you have for anybody about to graduate college?

at your graduation ceremony, make sure there’s a SECRET WORD. Like “future” or “promise.” And every time one of the speakers you will be forced to endure says it, y’all do the wave, or shout YES with one fist pump in unison, something like that.
