I just started rereading Wonder Boys for the umpteenth time. Knowing that you love it as much as I do, a question: which of Grady Tripp's completed novels would you most like to read in real life?

The one he’s working on about August van Zorn.

As a freelancer, is tax season just brutal? Also, do you have advice/lessons learned for other freelancers re: taxes?

It was, but we had a particularly bad couple years, an unforeseen five-figure debt we didn’t know about (until kel was preggo w Tallulah Monster, haha) and now we pay quarterly like clockwork.

Which would be my advice. Pay quarterly estimated without fail.
