i don’t think i’m going to be at D*C this year –

What's the best way to get you and Kelly Sue to attend a convention far away (like MegaCon in Orlando, for example)?

the problem is that megacon is right around the time our kids wrap school and just before heroescon, which is in charlotte and where my mom lives and is my hometown show. we keep trying to make a trip to megacon work, i promise.

How long does it usually and generally take you to finish writing an issue? And do you first plan out the entire arc and only then start writing the specifics, or do you write every issue separately?

to “finish” writing an issue? i dunno; once i have my ‘outline’ it’s usually a couple-three days of typing then i rewrite (usually cutting out stuff) once art comes back in a few times over before it gets to press.

the time-drain in my process is getting to that 'outline’ (which i put in quotes because it’s really more like a roadmap drawn in braille) and that can take however-long.
