Saturday night I won the“Special Award for Humor in Comics” Harvey Award for HOWARD THE DUCK. I conned Mr. Mark Waid into delivering my acceptance speech, which is above.

Obviously, this award is as much Joe’s as it is mine. He is the greatest and I will fete him like the beautiful talent-boy his is next time we meet. We’re being recognized for our fun duck book and I couldn’t be happier.
