Hi. I’m Max Waxman, creator of Mrs. Schwartz Scorched Her Shorts—a playful collection of tongue twisters that make language learning fun for kids and families.

With more than 25 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language, I’ve helped students use rhythm, repetition, and laughter to master tricky sounds and gain confidence in speaking.

My background in Graphic Design helps bring color and visual energy to each page, while my training in Library & Information Science helps me organize words and ideas so they’re clear, inviting, and easy to enjoy aloud.

When I’m not writing, I love reading, traveling, hiking, and taking photos.
