Bravo's new show: Work of Art - Recommend

I have always been inspired by visual artists.  In fact, it's probably a fantasy of mine to be an incredible visual artist (though I'm not).  So when I learned about the show on Bravo called Work of Art (designed just like Project Runaway, but for artists) I had to watch.

Rachel Contreni Flynn's New Book: Tongue

I am reading Rachel Contreni Flynn's new book Tongue published by Red Hen Press and it's incredible.

Rachel was kind enough to send me a copy since I acted as her surrogate blog during the Big Poetry Giveaway in April.

I have her first book, Ice, Mouth, Song, which I love and this book, Tongue is just as good especially in opening lines.

Caution: Blog in Construction - Font size Question for You

I just made the font size larger (maybe I should just find my glasses and put them on).



Do you prefer this LARGER size or the size it was the last time you read it?



Let me know.  My eyesight is getting worse, so it felt as if needed to be bigger, but maybe it's too big.  Almost Sesame Street big.



And if no one cares, I might go back to the last font, which was 16 pt I believe (but looked smaller to me.)

When the Self Doubt Began-- 

I think it began when I started breastfeeding, I not only made milk, but somehow begin to produce fear.  Fear in large quantities of all I could do wrong to this small innocent being relying on me and I thought, "God, I don't want to screw this up!"  And with those words, everything magnified.  God not only turned on the light (which was a spotlight), but told me to babyproof my outlets.
