Week 2 Update

So it's the second week of my writing challenge and, as you can see from my calendar, I've had a few bad days, but overall I'm still making progress. My manuscript has just passed 10,000 words—a bunch of scenes are unfinished or need work (because, let's be real, I can't actually help editing as I write), and a couple are from a few years ago when I worked on this story for NaNoWriMo—and I'm already having characters go off in unexpected directions.I'm not really sure how other writers develo...

Since the start of February, I've decided to set a new goal for my writing. I plan to have a first draft of a manuscript written by this time next year, which, based on a conservative estimate of length, means I get to set the ridiculously low daily word count of about 210 words.The story I've decided to work on is one I came up with almost a decade ago and have come back to over and over again, worldbuilding and developing the characters.
