Banks TV Drama to Air Sept 27

The first episode of the two-part drama based on Peter Robinson's novel Aftermath is due to air on ITV in the UK on September 27 at 9:00 pm. ITV has issued a press release with a brief summary and a full cast list.

At the same time, an interview with Stephen Tompkinson has been published, where the actor discusses his work on the series as Inspector Alan Banks.

Interview with Peter on New Zealand TV

New Zealand TV One program Good Morning had a recent interview with Peter, where he talks about the genesis of his Inspector Banks books, how he keeps the series going, and how he works with the character of Alan Banks.

Bad Boy Makes the New York Times Bestseller List

Peter's happy to report that Bad Boy, the latest Inspector Banks novel, has made the New York Times extended best seller list just after publication.

The New Inspector Banks Novel: Bad Boy

The latest Inspector Banks novel, Bad Boy, is due out in a few days, on August 5, in the UK, on August 24 in the US, and on September 14 in Canada.

New TV Tie-In Cover for Aftermath

Peter's novel Aftermath, soon to be a major TV drama on ITV, is being released with a new cover.

This cover, featuring Stephen Tompkinson, who will be portraying Inspector Alan Banks, will be available on tie-in versions of the book released soon in the UK.

We still don't have dates for Aftermath on TV, but as soon as we find out we'll post info here.
