Working on a new Book – currently on Chapter 4…

I’m both happy and excited to announce that I am currently writing a new novel. I have the concept sketched out in my mind. It will likely be a series – called the Dream Cane series. In book one I will incorporate a beast into my novel but as with most of my writings it will have a unique twist. I have the working title and the book cover designed. See below – Do you like it? It seems that readers in India, Poland, Philippines, Hong Kong, Germany, Russia, the Ukraine, Ireland, Brazil, Panama, the USA, the UK, Belgium and the beautiful island of Seychelles are the most frequent visitors to my site, but I could list many more countries currently accessing my work!

A Dark Secret - (5 Pages)

Two old pals arrange to meet; it’s been years since their argument.  A Vicar and a Famous Author were once childhood friends.  The story follows two men, inextricably bound by the tragic death of a common friend.  A reconciliation is planned, but the plan is derailed by a twist of fate. Fate has a funny way of exposing one man’s dark secret.

The Platform Guard - (9 Pages)

A young woman waits impatiently for her train.  She’s clearly distraught, betrayed by her cheating lover.  A conversation starts with a sympathetic platform guard.  His wisdom educates the young woman about life and love.  The young woman realizes that sometimes lessons are learned in an unorthodox way.

Deadly Negotiations - (10 Pages)

The egotistical banker wants to recall the loan.  A death in the family leaves a young man with the family’s struggling Watchmaker’s store.  The banker strikes an unusual accord.  The challenge is issued, “Make me a unique watch.”  The delivery of a new watch will secure ongoing financing.  If you don’t like your banker, you’ll love the twist in this tale.

What happens when a person tries to double cross you?  Double cross mayhem plays itself out at The Cross Keys pub in a high stakes game of life and death.
