Greeting the . . . afternoon!

Sometimes after a tough Sunday spent in bed all day, you just have to get in a good stretch and ask the all important question, "Is my dinner ready yet?"

Oh, to be outdoors again amongst the bushes and grass...

Sixteen Tons

As the song says, you load sixteen tons, what you get is another day older and deeper in debt. But that's about coal. We did sixteen tons of gravel, and we didn't load it. We spread it so our parking area wouldn't be a mud pit every time it rains. Moving sixteen tons of gravel is a lot of work, but the result is more satisfying than what comes from loading coal, apparently. Still, I think I'll stick with writing.

This is a patch of what the area looked like before.

J'accuse

Puck seems to have something on his mind. Any ideas?

Cool Off!

Falco and his best friend Ace go for a dip in the pool. Okay, well maybe it is just a big tub filled with water, but anything will do as a respite from July heat!

Tennis, Anyone?

Falco is sporting his tennis hat to mark Wimbledon fortnight. He asked me to point out the several reasons why Wimbledon is the superior of all the Grand Slam tennis tournaments:

1) It's English. As an English Shepherd, Falco understands that everything English is superior.

2) It's played on grass. Grass is an excellent surface on which to pee. It's also great for rolling in and just lying on.
