Attention: Just to make some of you aware, I am have ceased print copies of Solstice and Equinox effective immediately. The eBook copies will remain for awhile longer on Kindle due to the contract with them and Kindle Unlimited, but those will disappear from the Kindle store as well.
This is a planned move as 2020 appears like it shaping up to be the year of The Solstice Chronicles. After going back and looking through my old manuscripts of Solstice and Equinox, I decided that they were, well, okay at best. I don’t want these to be just “fine”, I want to make them mean something more in the grand scheme of the saga.
So, they are being re-edited as well as some parts being re-written. I am not the same writer that I was about nine years ago when I started the first book. I got some flack about taking a break from the series to pursue other writing projects, i.e. Pill Hill and Small Hearts, which both have received much attention in comparison to my Solstice books.
I believe that I needed to write my other novels so that I could learn more as I believe it made me a better writer and I think this series is going to benefit from that, I hope.
