I unfortunately had to pull my book out of two stores this week (Pages and Pipes in Appleton, and Boswell Book Company in Milwaukee). However, two copies are now available at Book World on Main St. in Fond du Lac. Get your copy today!

What's next

Had a good sales day Saturday at two book signings. Sold 5 copies (3 at St. John's craft fair and 2 at Fireside Books).

My next signing is 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at Salem Lutheran Church in Milwaukee for its annual Holiday Book and Bake Festival.

Recapping Book World

Sold two books at my 2-hour appearance at Book World in Stevens Point. One lady, Renee, bought it within 20 minutes after it started. Told her what the story was about and immediately said she wanted it. Turned out she has a son in New York who she's trying to get to come home. I told her that this story will certainly hit home to her.

Coming up, I've got two book signings this Saturday, Nov. 10. From 9-10:30 a.m., I'll be at St. John's Parish in Greenfield. Then from noon-1:30 p.m., I'll be at Fireside Books in West Bend.

Another date added

I will be at Apple Blossom Books, 200 E. City Center, Oshkosh, Wis., from 5-6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, to do a book signing of my debut novel, "A Life Worth Dreaming About."

I will be at St. John's (84th and Coldspring) in Milwaukee from 9-10:30 a.m. for a book signing.

3-hour tour

No. Not on Gilligan's Island. I spent 3 hours working on book number two, still untitled at this point. But 7,000-plus words later, I've got an interesting story going!

Twin Cities Book Festival and what's next

Congratulations to Laura L., of St. Paul, Minn., and Pam B., of Otsego, Minn., for winning an autographed copy of my debut novel, "A Life Worth Dreaming About," during the 12th Annual Twin Cities Book Festival on Oct. 13 in St. Paul, Minn.

The festival was a great experience, thoroughly enjoyed it. Sold a couple copies and was able to network with a lot of readers and fellow authors. I would definitely do it again.

The next book signing will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Faith and Giggles, 42 N. Main Street, Hartford, Wis.
