Damn all the fantasticsales this week and my phenomenal lack of control. *sigh* I need to go back to writing to stop from buying so much.

What I purchased last week:

All of these books were $1.99 or $0.99 with the exception of Invasion and The Novice, both landing in at $2.99.

Here are some free reads that I snagged as well:

What are you readin...

Review: Frost by E. Latimer

Okay, I’ll admit it, I’m shallow. I picked this book up purely for the cover. Enlarge the cover and look at the details and tell me you don’t love it, too! :) Add frost giants and Norse mythology, and I’m hooked.

Fall is here with a vengeance. The last three days, I’ve woken up to 61 degrees in the house. It’s official, I’m a wimp. I turned on the heat. Though Hubby grumbled that it was too early, he let me have my way. Smart man! *wink*

My vow to stay away from Amazon this week was an epic fail.
Once again, I got sucked in by the lovely sales. :) What I purcha...

I have to read series in order, so when I picked up book four in a store, I needed to buy books, 1-3, right? :)

Strange bedfellows….

So the dog loves to go out hunting for frogs, toads and all assortment of creepy-crawlies at night. This is the second time he’s run across one of these critters…

Salamander 9-24-15

I haven’t seen one of these beastsin years, then two show up in the last week. Very strange. It’s hilarious watching the dog when he gets too close. The critter hunches up and smacks the dog across the nose with his tail. After a couple of good smacks, I rescued the critter…er…dog? As far as I know, no frogs, toads or salamanders...

What’s wrong with this picture…

Snacks

So I purchased the above muffins to bring to work. I put them out late at night so I wouldn’t forget. I shoved them way back on the counter, so they wouldn’t be easily spotted.

And when I woke up in the morning, two of the muffins were missing! It reminds me of the Scottish folklore about little creatures call Brownies. Brownies are said to inhabit houses and aid in tasks around the house. However, they do not like to be seen and will only work at night, traditionally in exchange for small...

I did a bad thing…I went to NetGally. *sigh* I picked up one of these books just for the cover alone, so I hope I don’t get burned.

Since I was forced to go shopping, I picked up a few physical books as well. (Okay, so I picked these books up over the last month, then completely forgot about them.):

It wouldn’t be the same if I didn’t pick up a fe...

Umm, so, yeah, I fell off the bandwagon big time this week. *sigh* Four of them were sitting on my Wish List for a while, so I had to snatch them up. At lease they were all cheap, right?

All of these books were $0.99.

Here are some free reads that I picked up for the week:
