Allied Shirts Review – Product Review
Well, I was asked to do another product review. This time it was for Allied Shirts (AlliedShirts.com), who is a partner of BuildASign.com ( you remember, I did a review of their products last year, not too long ago really). They contacted me and asked for my opinion of their products and ease of ordering. So I took them up on it.
I went to the site and began the process of designing my shirt.
The format of the site was easy to follow as were the instructions as to how to choose the color, style and size of your shirt. I thought the best part was when you drop the design on the shirt and could put it exactly where you wanted it. I could see how it looked and laid, no guessing at all.
The delivery time was super quick. I got the shirt about a week after I placed the order. Very impressive. And this is what I got.
As you can see, it’s lovely. The emblem of my books is exactly where I wanted it.
The print is crisp and clear, and yet it has a wonderful vintage feel to it.
I couldn’t be more pleased.
As you can see, the shirt is made by Cport. I was unfamiliar with this company, but their shirts are super rich. Soft, but thick. These are high quality shirts.
I will definitely be going back to AlliedShirts.com. I was thrilled with their product and as they are partnered with BuildASign.com, I would expect them to be of the same quality in Customer Service as well.
Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

A Day of Thanks…
Thanksgiving is tomorrow. Well, at least here in the states. A truly American Holiday and although it has a shady origin, I think it’s found it’s way to what it should truly represent. And although I know a lot of people get stuck on the history of this day, and don’t celebrate or refuse to acknowledge the holiday, to me, its something else.
It’s the doorway to Christmas, Hanukkah and Yule. It kicks off the winter holidays with the most important thing about all of these holidays. It is about gratitude. For everything we are, everything we have and everyone we love. Whatever happened those oh so many years ago, Thanksgiving is now about what we have and how we give thanks. It’s about fighting with your siblings over a football game or something as equally benign. Or helping your mom make dinner, even when she tries to give you directions for something you’ve been doing for 30 years. Or remembering you last Thanksgiving with your dad and how he ate an entire pie over the weekend and stole all the Turkey when everyone else wasn’t looking. It’s about sharing what you have with those that have nothing. It’s about giving your time or your money or your food to someone who needs it.
Thanksgiving is more then a moment in the 17th century, it’s about what happens everyday and being reminded of how much we have and realizing that we are blessed. Whether it’s to celebrate a birthday or a miracle of lights or the impending winter, this truly American holiday is the opportunity to celebrate with our fellow Americans about our prosperity and large or small as it may be and to share that joy and all it’s blessings with those that need it. I’m not saying you have to work with the homeless or serve turkey dinner at a Soup Kitchen, but maybe you have a friend who doesn’t have much, or you have a neighbor who needs a friend. A small kindness can go a long way.
Tuesday at the market, I went to pull into my space and there was a cart left there, so I didn’t fit. I didn’t get mad, I just got out of my car to move it, but before I could, the woman next to me said “I’ll get it.” and smiled at me. She grabbed the cart and waved to me again. She didn’t have to, but she chose to. A small kindness. In the store, I went out of my way to smile and engage people. There was no hurry, no rush. One smile can lead to another and then another and then another.
My wish for this Thanksgiving it that we all share our joy with one another. Enjoy the moments with the people you love. Share your love with people you don’t know and give of yourself to someone who needs it. The world is a truly lovely place when we all give thanks. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

This collection of thriller stories started as a contest on Cynthia Shepp Book Reviews & Editing’s Facebook page. The authors were given the following guidelines:
This anthology will have a main theme of Stalkers. That is about where my direction stops. It does not have to be paranormal, though it can be. The story can be a psychological thriller, horror, paranormal, suspense, action…whatever you want it to be. You can have a demon stalking someone in their dreams or a serial killer stalking prey, just to give you a couple examples. Whatever your twisted minds can come up with. I want stories that have you looking in the backseat of your car before you get in—stories that make the little hairs on the back of your neck stand up when you think someone looked at you just a little too long. Let your imaginations flow free and DELVE into the DARKER side of your mind…You know you want to.
What happened next will shock even you…
These seventeen authors came up with completely unique stories that cross all spectrums and genres. Creepy tales that will truly have you on high alert. This is one collection that you do not want to miss. It has something for everyone!

BuildASign.com – Product Review – Fully Endorsed by ME
Here is my honest review regarding products from BuildASign.com
When I decided to do this, I opted to approach this as someone with no graphic knowledge whatsoever. I decided to get the Car Bumper Magnets. I loaded my picture and followed the directions and waited patiently to see my magnets. Well, when they arrived I was less than satisfied. They were horribly pixelated and not legible. So, I called Customer Service. WOW!! BuildASign.com has AMAZING customer service!! They checked my order and gave me explicit instructions as to how to get a replacement order. I also discussed with them why they didn’t have a warning system in place for just his reason. They said they did, but after reviewing my photo, the customer service representative noticed that it wasn’t high enough quality. He made a note and we placed the new order. Then I found out if you call in, you can request no border. I said, no border. Woot, let’s do this!!
I received a call on Saturday morning from the fulfillment department. They had called to let me know that without a border, I would lose some of my letters. So I said, ok, put in the border. She asked if I wanted it black or white. What? You have black? Sweet! Put black.
I’m now ecstatic and thrilled with the customer service department, so I decide to order the refrigerator magnets. I place the order and then the next day call and ask for the black border (you can’t choose when ordering), they said no problem.
My bumper magnets came and I was thrilled!! They look fantastic!!Then a few weeks later the fridge magnets came and I was even more excited!!
I couldn’t be more happy with the product and even more importantly, I couldn’t be more happy with the customer service this company provides. I would suggest you call them and ask them about the borders and if your picture is high enough quality. They are quite willing to assist you and fix any problems you may have.
I recommend BuildASign.com wholeheartedly!! Use them with confidence!!

Review:
I just finished reading Immortal Blood, the first book by Magen McMinimy in the Immortal Heart series and I can say I will be getting all of them.
McMinimy has created and original take on the Fae and the world they live in. They are amazing and different and spectacular. Talk about getting hot and bothered about paranormals… you definitely will. The passion between Izzy and Bain is undeniable. It is deep and hot. I was completely invested in this book and everything about this world.
McMinimy evokes depth and passion in her writing and her originality is exceptional. If you love Kresley Cole, you will Love Magen McMinimy!! Come and experience a new world of originality in the paranormal world and find the Fae that’s perfect for you!
