How to design a book cover on a limited budget... Well, I bought the cheapest picture of Antelope Canyon by Christophe Testi I could find (FYI: Christophe made a fantastic photo of this canyon which was featured on the front page of National Geographic a few years ago... couldn't afford that photo, obviously :) and then I edited the heck out of it! Changed practically everything except the shape of the rocks (and I cheated a bit even there). Ready for the before and after?

Fun fact: I won a hot air balloon trip through Holland (or Belgium... my choice :) by entering a writing contest. The topic was supposed to be mystical/spiritual, so I sent in a spiritual short story with a time-travel twist.
