Thanks to Local Heroes

Thanks to everybody who came out to Local Heroes in Norfolk last weekend. It was one of the best signings I've ever done, at one of the best stories I've ever been in. As you can see, it was crowded (that's me off to the left, stroking my beard). I signed a ton of books and talked to loads of fans, which is sincerely one of the best parts of my job. Thanks again.

Notes On Craft

How I write. In case anyone gives a shit.

– I build an outline for each arc with major story beats, some specific scene notes, maybe some important dialogue. For an issue, I start by just numbering 1 through 22 and writing a brief description of each page. Sometimes after that I'll go through and breakdown each page into very brief panel descriptions and build from there. Other times I'll just start at the beginning and build the whole thing as I go.
