935 and counting …

Finished The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch.

This is a fantasy book that I bought for Wheezley because he likes a good epic fantasy tale — and I knew that I'd get to read it after he was done. [image error]

The book focuses on Locke Lamora, a charming thief, grifter, and all-around con man who's the leader of the Gentlemen Bastards, a group of like-minded individuals in the city of Camorr. Locke and his merry band of men are working on their next big score when they get involved in a war between the m...

934 and counting …

One thing I have to catch up on is all the books that I've read while the blog has been on forced hiatus. So forgive me if the reviews are a little shorter than usual for a while.

Finished Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. This is the first book in her hugely popular Vampire Academy young adult series.

The book focuses on Rose, a half-human/half-vampire who's training to become the guardian/protector of her best friend Lissa, a mortal vampire princess. The book follows Rose as she and Lissa...

Titles, titles everywhere …

So, while the site has been down, some more stuff has happened with the Elemental Assassin series.

I have titles now! Huzzah!

If you guys remember, the first book is going to be called Spider's Bite. Book 2 is going to be called Web of Lies, and Book 3 will be titled Venom.

Pretty cool, huh?

Hopefully, I'll get the okay to share the awesome cover art from Spider's Bite soon … [image error]

I'm back (again!) …

I think, I hope, I pray that it is for good this time. We'll see what all those nasty viruses/hackers out there say.

First, I have to give a great big shout-out to Frauke at Croco Designs, who was nice enough to fix the blog and Web site for me. Thanks so much, Frauke!

Anyway, I'm hoping the Web site will stay up for good this time. But, if it goes down (yet again), please know that I'm working on getting it fixed as soon as possible. I also want to thank everyone for your patience while the blog

Still working on it …

Just a quick update to let everyone know that I'm still working on trying to get the formatting back to the way it was on the Web site.

Although at this point, I'm thinking it might just be easier to go ahead with the redesign that I had in mind.

Anyway, just wanted to let folks know that I'm still bumfuzzled as to what's causing all the problems. Hopefully, this will all get resolved soon — before I tear out what's left of my hair! Sigh …
