Paranormal Stories: Blog, Fiction and Nonfiction

Explosion 4A SEARCH FOR ANSWERS: Ghosts, ESP, life after death, out-body-experiences, hauntings, past lives, synchronicity, telepathy, visions, dreams, premonitions, time travel and so much more. COME JOIN ME AND LET’S EXPLORE TOGETHER.

I’ve been at this a long time and I’m here to tell you there are answers out there to life’s mysteries if you are willing to look deeply into the nature of reality. What it does take though is an open heart, a curious mind and an ability to look at evidence instead of what you might want to believe.

ExplosionMDcover2My journey began many years ago when my father died. At that time, my family and I came face-to-face with strange events we couldn’t understand.

It was this initial encounter with the unknown that led my wife Barbara and me on a multi-year search for understanding.

And as a result of that search, we published a nonfiction book through a division of Prentice Hall about our efforts and what we found titled, An Explosion of Being: An American Family’s Journey into the Psychic

Most recently though, I have used my knowledge of the unknown as the basis for the paranormal events as depicted in my young adult book series titled, The St. Augustine Trilogy.

Sliding - blogBook I of this series, Sliding Beneath the Surface, was published in 2011 and Book II, Stepping Off a Cliff, came out in November of 2013, Book III, Targeting Orion’s Children is scheduled for publication in late 2015.

But what I most want to call your attention to is my blog.

You’ll find links to it on the right hand side of each page in my website here and multiple categories to choose from.

Those postings are not entirely paranormal in nature but a good many of them are. And among them, you will find a lot of guest posts by ghost hunters, mediums, hypnotists and some of my most recent personal experiences.

To get you started, I’ve listed some of my most favorite posts below created as active links. In that way, if you wish, you can immediately jump into some of the most interesting paranormal stories I have to offer.

Stepping Off a Cliff Review # 26

Stepping blog

“Amazing!” The St. Augustine Trilogy, Book II, for Young Adults and Adults Young at Heart.

A review placed on Amazon.com by Hollypain Chelsea.

“This book picks up almost right after the first book ended.

“It was great to be thrown back into the world of Jeff and Carla, and to see how they develop individually and together from the first book. I like the pace of their relationship. It’s not rushed, and it grows with their experiences they encounter throughout the book.

“The end came too quick for me because I was unable to put this book down once I had started; and unlike when I completed the first book, I don’t have the next book to continue on with the story, which saddens me greatly because this series is amazing.

“I would definitely recommend this series to all of my friends.”

Stepping Off a Cliff Review # 25

Stepping blog“This series is fascinating.” The St. Augustine Trilogy, Book II, for Young Adults and Adults Young at Heart.

A review placed on Amazon.com by teacheramy.

“I read the first book over the summer, when I had much more time and energy. Being a teacher, it took me a lot longer to get to this one, but I finally finished last night.

“The story is just as interesting and compelling as I had remembered, and I loved seeing the progression of Jeff and Carla’s relationship.

“This series is fascinating . . . it stretches the imagination, while still providing likable characters and a rich history of America’s oldest city.

“I love the historical details that Dillon provides along the way. This book was also a thrilling, yet believable, journey into the supernatural – one Dillon’s readers are coming to expect!

“The sequel did not disappoint and lived up to the quality of “Sliding Beneath the Surface“. I think teenagers and adults would like this book, as long as they keep an open mind!”

“Amazing.”  The St. Augustine Trilogy, Book II, for Young Adults and Adults Young at Heart.

A review placed on Amazon by readconway.

“This is an amazing story, the twists and turns made it hard to put it down.

“I enjoyed the historical facts that entwined with the story line. I love Lobo and was amazed how this book developed this character. I can hardly wait to see how Doug will end the series and kind of sad that it is only listed as a trilogy.”
