Toddlers Can Play Their Favorite Music With Song Blocks Sonos system

The wooden blocks hallowed out for the NFC tags and magnet placements. Song Blocks was designed using a series of NFC tags, controller board and a Raspberry Pi B+ to engage music from a Sonos wireless hi-fi system.
Users beware as kids love to play the same song repeatedly, which can lead to early hair loss and nervous conditions.

3D Printing Using Genetically Modified Bacteria and Orange Juice

The JuicyPrint prototype—here the redder light indicates where the cellulose wouldn't be growing, and the bluer light is where the cellulose would. In this case the 3d bio-printer would be printing an 'H' symbol. Biohacking is the next big thing, but people aren't just talking about it anymore, they're using it to 3d print objects.
