NASA Announces Winners of 3D Printed Habitat Challenge

The winner of the 3D Printed Habitat Challenge.During Maker Faire Bay Area NASA announced a new $2.25 million competition to design and build a 3D printed habitat intended for deep space exploration. Today winners of the first stage of the competition were announced here at Maker Faire New York.

The Eclipses of Maker Faire

With the Earth passing between the sun and the moon, the only light hitting the full moon was from the home planet's sunrises and sunsets, resulting in the orange and red hue. The next total lunar eclipse won't be till March 2007.
