Get the Look: Emma Watson's Premiere Makeup

Emma Watson dazzled everyone with her young and fresh makeup look, which was very fitting for the New York premiere of The Perks of Being A Wallflower. She kept the clean and fresh theme of her outfit by sporting green eyes and pretty pink lips for her makeup, which we think was absolutely perfect on the red carpet. Want to try the look for yourself? Follow these six easy steps so you can pull off Emma's look!

Nam is a klutzy girl who fell madly in love with the high school heartthrob, Shone (played by Candy cover boy Mario Maurer). While he could make any girl squeal and swoon, Nam had to seek advice from her friends and self-help books to get her dream guy to notice her. Sounds familiar? Yep, we know you've had your fair share of hits (mostly misses!) when it comes to getting a guy's attention. Guys: Now and Then

Noong unang panahon is the opening sequence to almost every story that involves some form of flashback. Ever wonder how alike (or different) boys of different generations are? Read on to find out more.

Effort.  They say that guys of the rough 1950s exerted more effort in courting a girl. Because for simply the chance of talking to the girl they liked, they had to rally their barkada and serenade the girl at her house. To court her, they had to declare genuine intent to her parents. And to be her boyfriend, they had to subject themselves to heavy household chores.
On the other hand, guys may simply talk to girls now, court without approval, and be the boyfriend without lifting a finger. Although the serenade lives on through the one-man-band, and the chores through scoring pogi points from the ‘rents.
Same time, Same place. Before SMS, plans were set in stone. There were no last minute cancellations, only mutual trust that the other will be there as planned. This method is not foolproof and is still prone to emergencies and traffic. But if it’s any consolation, premiere movie tickets in the 50s only cost 1 peso! That’s only two pesos for a movie date, if you don’t include the dinner and the popcorn!
These days, if either party suddenly can’t make it, they can take a rain check by simply sending a text message.
The Ideal Girl. Pretty and graceful were mostly the basis for the guys back then, mostly because they couldn’t get to know the girl before courtship. At the same time, they were not allowed to court a girl that does not belong to the same social class.
Now, boys give more importance to factors such as getting along with a girl when they think of their ideal girlfriend.
Fashion. On a different note, the fashion sense of the guys haven’t changed much throughout the years, the same boys are still sporting boat shoes, canvas sneakers, aviators, and plaid shirts. And perhaps the only noticeable distinctions are that slippers were exclusively used for the home and the inclusion of snapback caps and high-cut sneakers to the male arsenal.
Fun. In the old days, boys in general were more active. There was no DOTA or Internet, so they admit to sleeping quite a lot. But when they weren’t, they were playing sepak takraw, watching Fernando Poe Sr. and jamming with their friends to the sounds of Elvis Presley, Bob Marley, and Pilita Corales among other well-known celebrities from their age.

Style Files: Monica Hiceta

Name: Monica Hiceta
Age: 18
City: Makati City
School: University Of Asia And The Pacific

Eclectic styling. I don't really have a definite or signature style, so I guess my style is eclectic. I like trying out different styles that suits my body type, so i swim through my closet and just play with the pieces that I have. You can see me sporting an edgy look one day and a rocker chic outfit the next, I even go boho sometimes. Though I don't have a specific style, I must say that you would always see me in boots (from the forever classic doc martens to the old school cowboy boots). Boots add flavor to simple and laid-back outfit, which is why I love to pair them up with whatever outfit I come up with.
Shopping haven. I shop anywhere! Zara and Forever 21 are my all time favorites, while Cloisonne is my one-stop shop. I also do a lot of online shopping nowadays as well.
Style icon. Definitely Emma Roberts! I love how she can always pull off an amazing and effortlessly chic look. I'm also in love with Miley Cyrus's sense of style, especially her hipster looks.
Fashion influence. I get most of my inspiration from fashion blogs, celebrities, TV shows, and magazines. I also love browsing through Lookbook.
In my closet. You'll see nothing but dark and neutral colored clothes.
Accessory must. If shoes count as an accessory, then it would most definitely be boots.
Not ever. You would never see me wear really skimpy or super tight-fitting clothes.
Trendy comeback. There's not one specific trend that I  would want to make a comeback because I personally think that fashion nowadays repeats itself (high-waisted shorts, denim cut-offs, cropped top, denim vests, round glasses, etc).
Bargain buys. Loose tops for Php 150 and high-waisted shorts for Php 100 in Greenhills and they're perfect for DIY projects.
Vintage loving. I have some hand-me-downs from my mom and grandmother and some denims and polo tops from my dad.
