Style Files: Monica Mabuti

Name: Monica Ciara Mabuti
Age: 16
City: Paranaque
School: Manila Science High School

Changing style. My style is always different. It's sometimes trendy but most of the time very casual. I really love experimenting when it comes to dressing up, so I can say my style is a little bit of everything: from girly to preppy to rock chic, and even boho.
Shopping fave. My go-to shops would be Forever 21, The Ramp, and Cotton On. I'm also a big fan of bazaars. It's always a joy to get trendy pieces at low prices!
Style icons. Definitely Lauren Conrad. I also love the style of Miley Cyrus, Vanessa Hudgens, and the Olsen twins. For local bloggers, my favorites would be Laureen Uy, Camille Co, and Cheyser Pedregosa.
Style influence. I get my inspiration from a lot of magazines and blogs.
Inside my closet. My wardrobe is mostly dark and earthy, sometimes bright, but never pastel.
Accessory must. In terms of necessity, I can never leave the house without earrings.
Not ever. I will never wear clogs. Never ever.
Trendy comeback. I'd really, really, really love to wear denim overalls/...

One Direction Back In The Studio Recording

Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan of One Direction were seen coming and going from a recording studio in West London the past couple of days. We wonder what they're busy recording—and where in the world is Liam Payne? The boys are set to perform at the BRIT Awards this month, where they're nominated for Best British Group. Check out Celebrity Teen Scoop for more photos of the lads.

Trend Alert: Pajama Pants

This season in fashion has been all about relaxed and easy style and the top trending piece is pajama pants. It mixes fun stylish prints in material that's soft, comfortable, and very laid back. When it comes to dressing up pajama pants, it's important to know what kind of look you're going for. Wear your loose, paisley print pajama pants with an oversized v-neck and flats for relaxed but stylish look. Choose high-waisted pajama pants and pair it with a cropped top and booties for a more fashion forward look. Just remember to stick to your personal style when it comes to dressing up this trend for an outfit that's naturally chic!

15 Minutes With Colton Dixon

How does it feel to be performing with Jessica Sanchez on Valentine's Day?
I feel very honored, and I know we're going to have a good time. You know we did the American Idol concert together, and it’s so cool to be able to do that again. It’s going to be amazing.

It’ll be your second time in the Philippines, right? What are you excited to see or experience in Manila again?
More of the culture, the food, the atmosphere. We got to experience a bit of that when we were there for the Idol tour, but not a lot because we were so busy. Hopefully, I’ll have a day to explore Manila....

Friday, I'm In Love: How Not To Get Your Heart Broken

Ask questions, but don't pry. Don't be the investigative journalist who needs to know every single thing about every single minute of every single hour, day, week. Ask about his day—about the best parts and worst. Trust that the answers that matter will be the only ones you need to know. And sometimes, you won’t even need to ask.

Always be on time. Stop making excuses for the whys, stop saying sorry for the what-might-have-beens, stop compensating for the what-ifs. Be present, be here, be in the "now." Because often times, it all boils down to just being there when you're needed and when you need someone.
