From Our Readers: A Letter to My Future Love

Dear Future Love,

I wonder where you are. Have we met already? Are we friends? Are you still in a relationship? Or are you just right behind me, sitting here in the coffee shop? Oh well, I think there are a lot of possibilities. But nevertheless, please promise me one thing. Promise me that the wait will be worth it.

As of the moment, I have no idea who you are. It's just that, I'm still waiting for the right time. That time when I'll be able to say, "Oh. Now, I know. This is the man that I've been writing this letter for." I've been through a lot. Sleepless nights due to a heartbreak? Well, yes. Been there, done that. Oh! Maybe you, too? Who knows? Maybe you're sobbing in the corner of your room by this time while I'm here, taking a sip of my Iced Macchiato and typing this letter. As I've said earlier, no one knows.

An Interview with James McVey to Wake Up Our Sleeping Hearts

Earlier this year, Brad, James, Connor, and Tristan got us all jumping, dancing, and singing along as they performed our favorites from their first album like "Can We Dance," "Wild Heart," and "Somebody To You." We'd never forget that epic night with The Vamps, and we've been holding on to the promise they've made (that they'd come back next year) as if it was the world's last slice of pizza.

From Our Readers: To the Guy I Wrote a Song For

It’s been three years since I wrote that song for you. It sounded so perfect back then but right now, when I listen to the audio file I kept in my "Junior Year" folder, it just seems plain lame to me. The lyrics are so sincere in a very clichéd way. I wonder what made me start writing those words. Maybe I was just so into you at that time. Oh no, that’s not a maybe. I was really into you.

I wrote that song when you just turned sixteen while I was about to turn fifteen. The funny part? I wrote it in Chemistry class. Seriously. It seemed effortless for me to make those words rhyme. And I was able to finish it for only a few minutes. To be honest, it's not a good song. Well, don't expect so much from a fifteen-year-old infatuated girl (because I’m not Taylor Swift).
