The book has been described as a "gorgeous lament" (Michael Martone), and is my response, in surrealist and other terms, to human inaction in the face of climate change. Reading from The Ocean Container in Sointula

Dear Friends,

I now have copies of The Ocean Container, and I'll be bringing them with me to Sointula, where I'll be reading at the public library August 1st. In mid-August, after I'm back from a longish camping trip, I'll be getting copies to those of you who are owed one, and will have more announcements to share then. Stay tuned!
