Secret Agent Man

James Bond, Jason Bourne, and Ethan Hunt are some of my favorite on-screen undercover agents. They make saving the world look easy! They are always undetectable and unnoticeable. But I take notice! Watching them break necks, decipher codes, perform incredible stunts, and outrun constant peril makes me think that I have what it takes to do what they do so well.

I love writing. In 2010, my dad told me about a website called Storybird. It is a website where people from all around the world connect to write. I made friends with a lot of the users, but one that really stuck out to me was Deepfried_freak. She was different from the rest.

The trip from our condo in Lexington, Michigan, to the Wisconsin Dells was a short 551 miles. Every one of those miles spared me the indignities of flying and renewed my love of road trips.

Wilhelma Zoo: Where the Peacocks Run Free

Apparently gardens make really good zoos, though that’s no excuse to let the neighbor’s pets run through your flowerbeds. In the case of the Wilhelma Zoological Botanical Garden in Stuttgart, Germany (we just call it Wilhelma), it’s very true!

An Unexpected Way to Travel Europe

I’m always looking for unique ways to explore destinations I love. I remember reading a book in college (for fun, not for class), on cruising down the Seine on a houseboat. Now the drawback, as I remember, was dealing with the boat and all the details of living on it (cooking, showers, etc.).
