Cool Podcast! :-D

Being invited to a podcast with a million subscribers is pretty cool! When you have fun doing it, you understand why it's so popular. :-D Thanks for the invite, Keith Chawgo!

The Literary License Podcast: Book to Screen and Everything In-Between invites guests to read an original book and compare it to the original film. https://www.llpodcast.com/ Two years ago, I was on to discuss The Witches of Eastwick and I was so happy to be invited back to reunite with Keith and Vickie Rae.

Last week, I was part of a lively discussion about Oscar Wilde's "The Picture of Dorian Gray" and the 1945 movie starring George Sanders, Hurd Hatfield (the ever-youthful but creepy Dorian Gray), Donna Reed (looking gorgeous) and an impossibly young Angela Lansbury--yes, she does sing in the movie. Did you know she's 95 years old? What a national treasure!

The portraits in this black and white movie are the only things that have color. Nice effect! They were real paintings commissioned for the movie and the handsome version of Dorian sold for $149,000.00 in 2015! The macabre portrait is owned by The Art Institute of Chicago.

If you want to enjoy our fun discussion about Dorian Gray from book to screen, check out the podcast at:
https://www.llpodcast.com/podcast/epi...

In June, I will join the podcast again to discuss Season 2, Episodes 1 – 4 of Bewitched. Can't wait! :-D
