Interesting...

I had forgotten the power of a few words to pierce the go that is built around the first book that you write. Yes granted my writing may need a little work, but I still forget that the simplest words can wound the most. A friend once told me the advice that I employed tonight after a few minutes of self pity. "In order to get anywhere, you need to have that thick skin. There will be a lot of rejections, before you ever will see the words yes."

To those out there that consider hanging your hat up at the first sign of trouble, I call you to the floor to justify the reasoning. Only when we are challenged will we grow, only when we grow can we be better. Always remember this. Always remember that an idea is only dead when it is never expressed. Keep writing and never give up.

I Confess...

I confess...I have never attempted or thought about blogging. Until I started doing this I had to research the term. I am so embarrassed. Well seeing as this is my first blog i might as start things off. My name is Keith Weller I am author by passion and hotel employee by trade.

I have always wondered what it would be like to see my name is print like those great literary authors of now and those of the past. I dance on the edge between the world of horror and that of fantasy and once in a while try to see if they can blend to bring something new. It has taken more than seven years of my life to realize that I was worthy of actually stepping across that threshold and seeing what would happen. My family as well as my girlfriend have been a huge driving force behind this as well as my biggest cheer squad.

Seeing as I have never written one of these before, I encourage people to send me questions & comments. I am curious to get to know what your wanting to learn about me and what I can learn about others who are addicted to the printed word in no matter what form you read it in. For the moment I will let this be read and bid you a good evening. As for myself I will drink a glass of wine while bringing another story to life.
