It's hot! (plus: giveaway)

It's so freaking hot here at the moment. Today we're supposed to have over 100°F again--90°F would be fine with me... But at least the roses are enjoying the sunshine:




The heat is so distracting that I can't concentrate on much, not even reading. I still have a few books on my kindle but I want to keep them for my vacation in a few weeks. Does anyone have a few recommendations for me?
