Meet Jordan Rivers, Jake's older brother in A Bittersweet Love:


“Okay, I’ve enjoyed our meeting but now I have to get back to work.” Jake stood and gestured toward the door. “If it’s a tour you’d like, I’m sure Lola has a few minutes to indulge you, but this office is nothing more than a showroom. The real work is obviously the final product and you can view samples of it if you just drive around the city.”

Jordan continued to laugh softly, much to Jake’s rising annoyance. “There is something else I wanted to ask you.”

“Make it quick.”

“You married into a family with a few lovely ladies.”

Jake blinked. “What?”

“There was one, in particular, that I noticed. Young, bookish, with glasses.”

“Vivian?”

Jordan grinned widely. “Ah, Vivian. That’s really nice. I want you to set me up with her.”

Jake stared, for probably a minute, at his older brother. Jordan still smiled, yet his gaze was dark and predatory. “You’re not a relationship guy. Why do you want me to set you up with her?”

Jordan’s look turned tired. “Are you really this naïve, Jake? What do you think I want?”

I was ill all last week with an infection, but I'm feeling better today. I've reviewed my writing schedule this year and I'm really excited to bring you more from the Richards Family Romance series. Not sure if I'll release any romantic suspense books this year; I love writing them, but they're a tough sell.

Hope everyone had a wonderful new year! Have you written your goals? Are you set to take actionable steps toward achieving them? I know I am!
