Update: Frost.

Hello again everyone!
I'm back again with yet another update on Frost, book #2 of the Poseidon's Girls trilogy. There's a couple of new points I'd like to share with you all concerning Frost.
Due to a sudden burst of energy in my life, I have returned to the writing board to continue working on Frost and I have determined that I am now over part of my writer's block. I wrote one of my favourite chapters of Frost last night and I am pretty sure that those who loved Xanthias and Iris in the first book will love Frost!
Another point: I am working towards an October 15 deadline for Frost. Don't hold me to it because my life has a funny way of saying, 'Oh hell no!' We'll see how it goes though and hopefully this drive that's suddenly found its way into my inner writer will manifest into words on my laptop.
I'm still open for suggestions on how I can improve the trilogy in both Frost and the final book Tempest, too, so feel free to send any suggestions to my Goodreads inbox, my facebook page, the forums for the trilogy on Goodreads and/or through the contact page on my official website located at this link.
In other news, I will potentially be allowing something unedited and interesting from Frost slip into my next newsletter set for release on the 1st of October. Sign up to the newsletter on my blog at the top right so you don't miss out!
That's about it update-wise for now. I hope everyone has an amazing week. Unfortunately I have a funeral to attend on Thursday after the shock passing of my Pop's brother, Uncle Stan after a fatal car crash. R.I.P. Uncle Stan. Frost will be dedicated to you as a celebration of your life! ♥

Introduction of newsletters!

For a long while now, I have been considering starting up a newsletter for my readers. And after finding a whole heap of positive reviews about Ice on Amazon by surprise, I am feeling a lot better since last night's rave. I no longer feel as bad, but the lingering sadness is still there. I am still suffering from depression and anxiety, but it's been 10 years now since I first got them that I am aware of so I doubt that they're going anywhere any time soon.
There is one thing I would like to comment on that a lot of my American readers have been picking up on. According to numerous people, I spell certain words wrong on numerous occasions. I would like to take the time right now to let you know that while it may be considered wrong in certain countries, in Australia, we write in certain ways different to other countries.
Some examples include:
Realize = Realise.
Instal = Install.
Customize = Customise.
Judgment = Judgement.
Aeroplane = Airplane.
Ageing = Aging.
Finalize = Finalise.
A full list of spelling differences is available at this link. It is both interesting and informative for those who are like me and enjoy learning differences between countries and spelling, methods of speaking and other language differences.
In addition to this, I would like to thank everyone who joined the giveaway for Glass Bones. I wish you could all win but in the end, there is only one winner. I aim to have Glass Bones sent by tomorrow to the lucky winner if all goes to plan along with all the little extras. Hopefully one day when my books have a bit more publicity and I earn enough, I can provide a worldwide giveaway for a number of my books. Right now, though, that is just a dream that has yet to become a reality.
So, on a final note, I hope to release my first newsletter ASAP and I would love for everyone to please sign up. I will be writing about things that won't show up on my blog and other social media on occasion, plus there will be exclusive freebies, upcoming book information and links to my favourite book websites. So basically all the things that make 21st Century reading and writing so much fun!
Where to find the newsletter sign up link!When you arrive on my blog, there is a sign up link at the very top right hand part of my blog above each of the other fun little widgets I have on display. Just type in your email, send and verify the address in your emails and you're finished! In my first series of emails, I plan to release some more information on upcoming releases and ideas I'm playing around with, my thoughts on different literary (and some non-literary) areas and some information on how I created the covers to not only the Poseidon's Girls trilogy but also my stand-alone novel, Glass Bones. There will certainly be information, release details and freebies in relation to Frost and Tempest, plus more information on my upcoming Clarity duology/trilogy and my struggles on deciding on which!

The Writing Fire

Tonight, I should probably just put up everything and go to bed. But instead, I'm online and I'm going to write out all of my current frustration in a 'diary entry' for my readers to ... well ... read!
Recently, every aspect of my life has been giving me grief. Freaking out over finances and personal relationships has driven me to the point where I am simply left exhausted and angry. I haven't been able to write Frost in so long now that I'm starting to get to a point now where I am questioning the following:

Should I stay where I am or move away?Should I continue writing or just give up completely?Should I continue writing Poseidon's Girls or just pull it apart?After so many horrible reviews, why do I even bother?My motivation is lacking terribly right now. I can't write. I can't draw, sing, play musical instruments, study my writing courses... Being from a small town there's been rumours that my car repairs were because I apparently put it through a tree (I didn't; it just had some dodgy parts from my previous mechanic) and rumours about my personal relationships and struggles with depression and anxiety are the newest things to go around.Quite simply, I've had enough of everyone and everything.I will eventually get Frost complete, one day sometime probably toward the end of this year. Then Tempest will follow ASAP. Then the Clarity Star, which I have yet to completely determine whether I want it to be a duology or trilogy (comment at the bottom of this post to help me choose!) and I am planning on going to University next year.In addition, I plan on completing my Creative Writing and Romance Writing courses by December so I can start 2015 on a clean slate and hopefully I can eventually work enough to purchase the services of an editor to iron out the creases in my writings.Right now I just have to survive the many, many rumours about my life. And rumours are my pet hate.
