Review-A Thin Film of Lies

‘A Thin Film of Lies’ had me intrigued from the first page. C.S. Lakin captures the essence of each of her characters impeccably. The author uniquely allows the reader to learn who the villain is, and proceeds to open the door to the villain’s mind. As the story unfolds, we learn how easily one can be framed for murder, especially one who has a scarred past.



We feel the pain and heartache of several characters, and we watch them tread through their challenges and come out better people. It’s a...

Do You Like Weak Tea or Strong Tea?

I’ve seen some wonderfully informative and inspirational blogs since joining Triberr a few months ago. I’m no expert myself; learning as I go is part of the experience.



But one thing I’ve learned is that focus is important. I don’t mean focus on one topic and go at it like crazy. Personally, I have four separate blog topics. You need lots of subject matter if you’re going to offer posts at least three times a week, which is what I strive for.

Boo Boos

Tucking Victoria into bed one night, she had a hangnail on her big toe. I gently pulled it off and it bleed a little. After I applied pressure, the bleeding stopped. She looked at her toe, then up at me and said, “I want a new one Mommy.”
