Official Marvel Podcast Interview
I did an interview earlier this week with Ben Morse and Ryan Penagos from Marvel. It’s a nice overview of my start in comics, working on Figment, and which characters at Marvel I’d love to write in the future. Give it a listen here!
Makeshift Miracle Wraps Up Online Today!
Makeshift Miracle wraps up today! The final page of the story just went online.
Rebuilding this story with Shun Hong Chan’s incredible artwork has been wonderful. I’m incredibly happy with how it all turned out. I can’t thank Shun enough for his hard work.
Thanks also to Erik Ko and the rest of the UDON team for seeing this through each stage of production. It’s been a wonderful journey and I can’t wait to see the second half in print.
Speaking of which, Makeshift Miracle book 2 should be coming out before the end of the year. As soon as pre-order information is available I’ll be sure to link it here. In the meantime, please feel free to read the complete story online starting from HERE and share the site with everyone you know. Thanks!

Wayward Advanced Review on AICN
Even though our first issue doesn’t arrive until the end of August, Rob Patey from entertainment site Ain’t It Cool News has a special advanced review of WAYWARD #1 to whet your appetite.
“What this review is missing is how well Zub paints these moments–Rori’s journey, the loss of her parents’ love for each other, how crazy Japan is for first timers–because he does it all in masterful and authentic detail. Steve Cummings is simply a new god of comic drawing; my jaw continued to lower to the floor page after beautiful page.”

Skullkickers #28 Reviews
Once you’re 28 issues into a series it can be tough to bang the drum and get readers to try it out. Thankfully we’re still getting nice feedback from reviewers as our fifth story arc rumbles onward.
• Newsarama: 8/10 “it’s a rare thing to find a comic that is written well enough to regularly elicit laughs, so I’d certainly recommend new readers in need for a little levity in their reading pick up the this issue”
• Comic Bastards: 4/5 “The story pacing is perfect, the dialogue isn’t overkill and the jokes are perfectly timed.”
• The Outhousers: “The team never lets up on the humor but it never feels forced. Skullkickers #28 is the strongest issue in a while”
• Comic Attack: “Every origin story should look this good and be this fun!”
