Today’s Question by the reader : Martin

Why do you tweet?

I tweet, as well as consult my blog, write in Myspace and share in Facebook because I can communicate in a direct basis with my readers.

I like the format of twitter - the short messages are a great way to get a point across quickly and directly.

I decided also to insert in the blog my tweets - in the sidebar - for readers to know what I am doing. I am in Cannes right now and want to share as much as possible.

Respect for mystery - Part 2

Paulo Coelho

I had to live for many years before I realized that love is an act of faith in another person, and its face should continue to be wrapped in mystery. It should be lived and relished at each and every minute, but whenever we try to understand it, the magic vanishes.

When I accepted this I also began to let my life be guided by a strange language that I call “signs”. I know that the world is talking to me, I need to listen to it, and if I do so I shall always be guided towards what is m

Today’s Question by the reader : Saran

I have just finished reading the Witch of Portobello. It took me some time to get through, largely because I knew that there was a lot for this book to teach me and my eyes and heart were not ready to receive it. In the book, there is a discussion about the snake that eats its own tail as an image of reinvention or rebirth. I feel like I am going through this process at this time. What is the one thing that I must remember during this time which is full of doubts and fears but at the same time

Your Opinion On : Revealing Shameful Acts

There is a small book here, in French called “Nasty Stories about Great Men”.

Of course we all have nasty stories that we wish no one to hear, but sooner or later, they will surface.

That’s why I permitted the publishing of my biography that’s not yet in English but is in Portuguese and Spanish.

So – you cannot hide – and what would you say to your children that you don’t dare to say now? What will they discover after you die?

I invite you to share this in the blog – either anonymously or with your

Respect for mystery - Part 1

Paulo Coelho

The Greeks were great masters at describing human behavior through small stories that we usually call myths. All the generations that came after them, from Freud’s psychoanalysis (with the Oedipus complex, for example) to the films of Hollywood (like Morpheus in “Matrix”) ended up drinking from this source.

For a good part of my life, one of those stories left me very intrigued: the myth of Psyche.

Once upon a time … a beautiful princess was admired by all but nobody dared to ask for h
