you tell people to leave their cheating boyfriends but you're nice to cheaters and tell them it's okay if their partner decides to stay with them?

A person is allowed to decide if they want to stay with someone who cheated on them? It’s their decision to make? If the person who’d been cheated on came and asked me what to do I’d tell them to leave, but they didn’t. So go and be ridiculous elsewhere. 

I cheated on the person who I think I love. I know that cheating is wrong. I know. But I did it anyway. What now? I feel numb, Azra.

Tell them the entire truth. Tell them that you might love them and understand that it might not change anything. It wouldn’t for me. If they want to leave you, then they should have the right to make that decision. If they want to stay, then they should know everything. Just know that if they choose you after what you did, it’s a blessing and you should remember that.
