Final Events, The Collins Elite & Supernatural UFOs

From Phenomena Magazine , a good, new, balanced look at my 2010 book, Final Events and the Collins Elite, a think-tank-type group in Government which concluded that the UFO phenomenon has supernatural - rather than extraterrestrial - origins.

David Weatherly's "Black Eyed Children," Revised

Available now is a new, revised edition of David Weatherly's 2012 book, Black Eyed Children . Here are the opening words to my review of the new edition:
"Back in 2012, David Weatherly’s then-much-awaited book, Black Eyed Children was published. So, you may well ask, why am I mentioning this now, six years later? The answer is simple: Just recently, David decided to put out a new version of the book, a revised 2nd edition , and which has a cool cover courtesy of Sam Shearon . If you aren’t fully conversant with the BEC phenomenon, the sub-title to the new edition will give you a good idea of what you can expect in its 240 pages: “The B.E.K.s – They Reside On The Fringes Of The Paranormal. Are They A Diabolical Threat, Or The stuff Of Urban Legend?”
"As I have noted in several of my books and articles over the years, the Black Eyed Children are, in many ways, similar to the Men in Black (no, not the Will Smith-Tommy Lee Jones type. The very weird, pale, cadaverous and creepy types are the ones I mean). The BEC so often turn up at night, knock on peoples’ doors and do their absolute utmost to try and get an invite inside. Fortunately, most people get a distinctly weird and creepy vibe from the BEC, something which generally ensures the 'kids' don’t manage to get into the home of the targeted person. On occasion, however, some unfortunate souls have seen exactly what the BEC are capable of when they succeed in getting inside."

X-Files: Go Away
Latest season of
The X-Files
? Meh. I can't say I was ever a big fan of the show, as I stopped watching it around 1997, as I thought it was being written as they went along, with no real plot in sight. The new episode didn't cut it, plus - and just like when
Twin Peaks
came back - everyone looks old and tired. Apart from Scully. I will be glad when the show is laid to rest and it never comes back. Like an over the hill athlete or a rock band that should know when it's time to retire, it's time for
The X-Files
to become extinct.

Cryptozoology in 2018 & a UFO 10th Anniversary
In a new article
, I look back 10 years at the Stephenville UFO wave of January 2008...
Here's how it begins:
"Just a few days from now we will be marking the 10th anniversary of the Stephenville, Texas wave of UFO activity and encounters. It was a wave which caught the attention of not just UFO researchers, but also much of the world’s media – and the U.S. military, too. There is no doubt that the case was – and still is – steeped in intrigue and mystery. And, as the tenth anniversary looms large on the horizon, there’s also no doubt that there are still enough weird leads and strange aspects to the story to allow for a new investigation of the case. Let’s take a look at the timeline and how things went down."
And, in another new article I take a look at what we might see in the new year, in relation to the field of Cryptozoology. And here's how that article begins:
"A few people have asked me what I think is on the horizon, in 2018, when it comes to all things of the cryptozoological kind. Well, I certainly can’t predict the future, but I do have a few hopes and ideas. Granted, they are hopes that may not come to fruition, but I can at least remain positive! We’ll begin with the Orang-pendek. It’s a small, unknown type of ape said to live in stealth in the dense forests of Sumatra."
