San Diego this weekend
Just a reminder that I'll be in San Diego on Saturday, 14 May and Sunday, 15 May. On the 14th I'll be at Camp Pendleton from 11am to 1pm, then at Mysterious Galaxy on Clairmont Mesa Blvd from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. On the 15th I'll be at MCAS Miramar from 11am to 1pm. This will be my first visit back to San Diego since 1989, so I'm looking forward to seeing the city again as well as meeting West Coast readers.

Dreadnaught is a NYT bestseller!
My editor called to tell me that Dreadnaught is at number 15 on the New York Times bestseller list (the list for sales this week will appear in the print edition on Sunday, 15 May). Thank you to all of the readers who made that happen.

A Real Book Launch
Come Thursday I'll be heading down to Florida to watch the launch of the shuttle Endeavour as a guest of Mission Specialist Colonel "Mike" Fincke, one of the crew for the flight and a fan of my writing. Since the crew headed into prelaunch preparations today, I knew Colonel Fincke wouldn't have the opportunity to buy a copy of Dreadnaught before the flight, so my publisher arranged to have an early ebook copy delivered to him so he can take Dreadnaught into space. If all goes well, on Friday Dreadnaught will head into orbit along with STS-134, which I think qualifies as a real book launch.

Third Printing!
My publisher told me today that based on the preorders Dreadnaught went into a third printing before its release date. Thanks to everyone who helped make that happen!

Audible website
There was a glitch on the Audible website that made it hard to find Dreadnaught, but that is being corrected. You can also find the Audible book now available for sale on the same Amazon page as the hardcopy and ebook versions.
